APIECEOFCHARLOTTE started in April 2019 when Molly Caldwell, the sole owner, grew an interest in ballistic materials. After extensive research, she fell into chainmail & started creating handmade jewelry & accessories.
Soon after she began, she was approached to work with local designers, influencers, & photographers to carefully craft pieces that best fit their creative direction. Most of her custom business currently stems from Charlotte, NC however, the scope of her work reaches as far as the U.K.
As APIECEOFCHARLOTTE continues to grow, Molly plans to reach more retail markets with her jewelry & divulge deeper into the art world with installations. Fascinated by the intricacy of patterns, she will continue to push herself to create large-scale pieces that challenge conventional limits.
